preparing for the rainy week

It was hot hot hot today. and while i am trying to love the warmth while it is still of enjoyable degree, i am so irked by the plenty of futon patting!!!
before the rainy week sets in next monday, EVERYONE is dusting their mattresses!!!
that was the OLD way of cleaning up futons but recent findings show this actually pushes the fust further in, and the best way is to cover your vacuum cleaner with a pair of old stockings and run it over the futon.
BUT EVERYONE IS STILL GOING BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM with their futon dusting sticks.
ARHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
MY LAUNDRY IS HANGING OUT AND YOU ARE DUSTING!!!
was soooooooooooooooooooooooo mad with the 2 ladies upstairs who seem to be enjoying that drumming.

The only thing that calmed me a little was my basil plant.
As i bent to have a look at the ground (filled with dust), the flowers on the basil plant caught my eye.
I didn't know they grow such pretty flowers~

Dinner tonight was

Seafood curry with zucchini, french beans and shimeji
Icebright leaves with yogurt dressing
I love these crunchy leaves that we got from the farmers mart.
They are also called Salt leaves in some marts because of the natural lightly salted taste. The surface of the leaves look like they have many water droplets on them, but they are actually part of the water sacs of the leaves, which make the salad really tasty on its own without much dressing.

Leek pickles we bought from the supermart

Another sunny day tomorrow before the rain starts pouring for a week plus from sunday.
please don't wham your mattresses again.
