yam croquette

Today was grill day!

Grilled croquettes & grilled shiitake mushrooms
Yam croquette
Using the regular croquette recipe, just replacing potatoes with yam.
was good! the yam had a chewy mochi mochi texture which i kinda like!~
As usual, fried foods are grilled at home with the oven. =)
saves me from all the washing =P
juicy plump shiitake mushrooms of the season! simply grilled and salted lightly. perfect!
hijiki brown rice with grated mountain yam
topped with wasabi & shoyu before eating

root vegetables are supposed to keep us warm this season, plus they are the yummiest now=)
