tofu roll & salmon soy carbonara

We had english muffins this morning, of course with cheese & a sunny side up
cheese cheese cheese, cant stop having cheese & more cheese.
i wonder if its ok, gotta ask the nutritionist at mama class tommorrow.
tofu roll bun!
i love cream roll buns though mum never bought them for us very often cos of the not so good for you cream. but when i saw this! wowow, i had a sample of it, and i think she would love this too.
cream made with tofu! and with this tofu that we both loved when we used to buy our tofu from the supermart. very thick and dense tofu. which i guess explains why this tofu cream was so delicious!
plus the bun was so soft & fluffy!
i am addicted to this now.

salmon & spinach soy cream fettuccine
this was made using my standard carbonara recipe, except that i replaced the butter with miso, the milk with soya bean milk, and the flour with rice flour.
seasoned with dashi instead of consomme granules.
this went really well in our tummies. easier to digest than the regular butter & milk/cream rich carbonara.

really enjoyed my time catching up with an all time good friend today.
both of us have grown so much in our own ways, but yet i feel this warm friendship that still lingers.
gosh she brought me 2 pandan cakes!!! J almost fainted when he opened the boxes, but i m so so delighted! gonna freeze the 2nd one, so i can enjoy them over winter too.
pandan cake fragrance should be sold in aromatherapy shops. it takes away tiredness =P
