banana toast on a cold morning

i always say i am allergic to bananas cos i really dont like bananas.
though we always had bananas at home cos dad & neth love to munch on them.
dad always asks why there r no canned bananas cos he loves them so much.
hmm... wonder if it is impossible to can bananas.

anyhow, weirdly, i am craving bananas.
2 weeks ago, when i saw the 50% off stickers on a bunch of bananas, i bought them for J.
but the next day, they look like they were going to faint anytime soon cos they were super ripe, so i made banana cake and stole a bite before adding the bananas in. then realised, wow, they taste good!

spotted another 50%off bunch yday, and grabbed without hesitation. =)

i have a new recipe book full of chicken recipes =)
J surprised me with one of my fav cooks latest recipe collection!
Koh Kentetsu comes from a korean family but was brought up here.
inspired by his mums love for cooking, decided to pursue his own passion for cooking, and creates terrific asian and western fusion recipes which are very popular with the young people now.
thai chicken satay, french beans & mushroom korean stir fry, miso soup & pumpkin fries
Thai chicken satay
marinated with sweet shoyu, garlic & fish sauce before grilling. =)
vegetable stir fry with home made sweet korean paste
when i first tried kochujang, the korean chilli paste in a tube. i was surprised at how spicy it was on its own! so different from what i tasted at the restaurant.
Using Kohs recipe, i managed to come up with the sweet version which is so much easier on my stomach! =)
pumpkin fries store bought

it was reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally chilly today. 9degC was the highest!
news said this is the coldest in 17years for november temperature.
planned to go for a walk in town, but decided to shelf that plan and stay home to sew.
started making baby bibs! and am enjoying it~!
i wished i could knit. but each time i read the knitting instructions, my head starts to spin.
i will stick with my basic needle and thread for the time being.
