From watching the flowers bloom, to observing the colours change, to enjoying the breeze as it takes the flower petals on a waltz around the garden...

Flower petals on the ground of my yard
whenever i hear the tree branches ruffling in the wind, i like to look out the window of my yard... its a flower shower of sakura petals each time. =)

I remember having chicken piccata on the plane menu pretty often and the creamy sauce that came with it was always appetising. But to make chicken piccata for bento will be a messy business because firstly, a whole chicken supreme wouldn fit in, secondly, it would be too saucy.
So i used a pork cutlet, dipped it in egg batter, pan fried it first, then top it with cheese before adding water into the pan to cook the rest of the cutlet and melt the cheese atop it.
Topped with mixed herb before cutting it up and popping it into the bento box...
Pork piccata, olive and sausage salad, and rice salad (tossed with May leaves, ume and soft scrambled eggs)

Dinner

Chicken bamboo shoots stir fried with shiitake, topped on rice
