i had my visa renewed today, at the Tokyo immigration office, which i term Alien centre.

I really detest going to that place. firstly, because it is far, secondly, i do NOT like being termed an alien.

BUT Shinagawa has so many interesting shops, based on different themes, Europe, New York, and traditional Japan, so looking forward to shopping at these places helps make my day a little less miserable when i have to leave the house early to beat the immigration office crowd.

After shopping at the one class up Queens Isetan, which has floor dedicated to European food bento boxes for office workers to grab, i so wanted to have pasta tonight!!!

But poor J is having the runs, so i decided to make mains a tofu dish so itd be easier on the tummy.

With spring onions soup, hijiki salad, and long beans stir fry.

Its been a fairly cool day again. =)

And i am craving schweinehaxe (pork knuckles).

This is weird, i keep craving pork!

The other, we had pork ribs at Shutters, a famous ribs place , which was really really delicious. With the dripping fat and super appetising shoyu based sauce, it was finger licking. But i am craving mums pork ribs. Not dripping with fat, and really meaty!

I think this is really really weird. craving pork?!
