Went for a walk at the Inokashira park at kichijoji yesterday and look what we found at the art flea mart!
this lady loves mushrooms so much, she makes mushroom magnets, keychains, book mark chains out of felt cloth. each one was of a different design and colour, and we brought this one home.Today was stay at home sunday.
so after our supermarket shopping, it was homemade lunch
the udon went very well with the by now, very thick broth.
curry soba with lots of shimeji mushrooms
and a lil treat from mister donut for tea
its gonna be sale day on tues, and since its a hol, will prolly get more donuts! =)
OK so heres round3 of oden.
you wont believe but this tastes better with each night
added some fresh vegetables and thin udonthe udon went very well with the by now, very thick broth.
we didnt manage to finish, but i would have to take a break from oden tommorrow night.
J says he would like some fish cake pieces in his bento.
phew, this way we can finish this soon.
my dear J is so soooooooooo crazy over oden that i think i should cook a big pot of this next year when i need to take a break from cooking. will probably keep him happy all 3 meals.
am so thankful for a nice bright sunny weekend, J and i managed to date, and laze around a bit in the warmth of the day. rain just started, and weather report says, this week will be a fine week, so i guess mr rain will only hang around during the night.
