Friday was 戌の日(inunohi), which is why we went to the famous Suitengu shrine to pray for a safe birth.

Touch this dog and mother & baby will be protected =)

Throughout the year there are many of these designtaed inunohi days where mothers in their fifth month of pregnancy go to the shrine to pray for safe birth. J took a day off to go with me.

Am really thankful too that otoosan & okaasan accompanied along too.

dinner tonight was

saba miso ni saba simmered in miso

with eringi mushrooms and burdock added

simple fish cakes and vegetable stir fry

orange cauliflower & hanpen mentaiko creamy salad

had a nice lazy weekend at okaasans place. recharged for the week! ^.^
