sweet and sour fish

It was a sun sunny day today!
=) in a slightly happier mood~
so, i got adventurous and tried this recipe we saw on TV last weekend.
sweet and sour fish
the taste was good. very restaurant like.
BUT i honestly, can conclude i dont really like sweet and sour dishes now.
the taste is so strong, i need a whole bowl of rice to go along.
i guess mum didnt like it either. the only time we had this kind of taste experience was at the tze char stall (wok fried chinese cuisine stall) which has, in the first place very strong tasting dishes.
ok, checked, and wont try again.


Japanese style sauerkraut
the usual way i cook sauerkraut, except, replacing the button mushrooms with shiitake, and ham with chikuwa (fish cakes). =) i like!
mountain yam pancakes
i think for awhile, i shall keep away from adventuring chinese wok style cuisine.
