tandoori chicken washified

Tried making tandoori chicken today.

1st time, so i decided to check out some recipes online, but most require a lot of herbs and preparation. buying these herbs individually would mean $$, and more crowding in the condiments section of my fridge. So to make things simple, i searched www.cookpad.com for some Japanese recipes for tandoori chicken. Surprisingly, an endless list popped up. Seems most housewives have their own style of this!

This time, i followed the general list of ingredients and came up with my own variation too.

For 2 fillets of chicken thighs/supreme

plain yoghurt 1 cup

pre mixed curry powder 1 tbs

chilli powder/paprika 1 and half tbs

shoyu 1tbs

ketchup 1tbs

Basically, before marinating, i sprinkled salt on the fork pierced meat, and then gave the 2 pieces of meat a good massage with the above spice paste and kept them in ziploc overnight. Pop the chicks in the oven and grill as usual.
