mabo tofu with eggplant!

Bento

Black pepper garlic sauteed pork, leek topped with crushed sesame dressing.

These days, as much as possible, i try to buy local produce from this centre that gathers freshly plucked vegetables from different local farmers. Today, i found...
japanese pears, nashi.................

and eggplant...

and local honey...
So with this bag of precious produce,

i wanted to make mabo eggplant. but on the way home, i passed another tofu maker whom i have never bought from before, so... i decided to fuse mabo eggplant and mabo tofu!

To cool the heat off, we had this side crunchy daikon salad with plum dressing.
