We went for a walk at the university just a few metres away from our place...


the row of trees that were very bald last month are suddenly all green...

and pretty flowers were growing everywhere

melons are starting to be in season

bought this melon called yellow king. came from kumamoto prefecture and the fruit seller was reccommending it

quite sweet but not as sweet as i expected. i think the green melons are sweeter =)



Dinner was full of yummy vegetables in season

chicken and spring vegetables golden curry (baby potatoes, carrots and fresh asparagus)

lotus root tempura store bought

grilled jumbo red pepper topped with cheese, herbs and puttanesca sauce =)

like a mini dose of pizza

it was such a wonderfully sunny day today and our moods were pretty much lifted =)
