It was warm enough for me to go out with a sun dress and sandals today =)

bought noodles from the korean street at shin okubo yesterday and decided to make cold korean noodles for lunch today

with ham, kimchi, leeks and egg strips, drizzled with sweet korean chilli sauce

More beer nights for us =)

chicken and spring vegetables curry was our main. matched with brown rice.

And with a whole lot of fresh peas, i made ham and peas lettuce salad topped with feta cheese and drizzled with cheese mayo
and grilled the pea pods in the oven together with some octopus fish cakes to go with beer
was delighted at how sweet the pea pods were on their own!

and after the spicy curry, this was refreshing

grated daikon and fresh & sweet sakura prawns

silly me had thought today was a public holiday since J didnt go to work today.

was wondering how come shopping places were relatively empty compared to sundays.

and then realised Labour day is not a holiday here!

when i asked J, he said, labour day means LABOUR day here. apparantly he was on leave —,―
