First time i made choux cream...
Am pretty used to making custard already cos they make a good cake spread so i have them in my fridge often.
Making the puff pastry was tough.
Tasted like the real thing but was not puffy enough.
Am gonna try and perfect this =)

She simply loves this cos it is overall fluffy and soft.
(Will try to perfect this before the next time we meet ok?)

So today was off day for us.
Nice and hot day =)
we decided to go for cold noodles for lunch
Chilled somen noodles tossed with hijiki, enoki and shredded chicken, drizzled with sesame shoyu sauce.
And to up the volume, burried a handful of beansprouts under the somen.

Dinner was
besides the assorted nerimono (fish cake) that we bought and grilledtofu with bamboo shoot bits, chicken and sakura prawns ankake sauce, topped with nori and fried bits of aburaage
kenchiku ni
smoked salmon and mixed beans salad with cheese chips
Got this idea from a cooking show and it was yummy!
Simply drop a tablespoon of grated cheese onto a tefal coated pan and you get instant crunchy cheese chips.


heard it was a blazing 32degC in central tokyo today!!!
hoho~ time for summer clothes!
