So we wanted to try this limited edition teriyaki burger from MOS since last week, finally had it for lunch today.

with fries and home made spinach bacon and egg soup

More spring vegetables~
fresh baby corn

added it to lettuce and tomato soup for dinner...

and made sweet and sour pork for mains.
For quite some time i have been meaning to try this, but was apprehensive about how it would taste cos it nihongo, it is called subuta which literally translates to vinegar pork. now, who in the right mind will simmer pork in vinegar and say its good? this is a very popular dish here and children love it, so the other day at a dinner gathering and someone ordered this, it finally sunk into me that its actually sweet and sour pork!!!
and cucumber salad tossed with fried sakura prawns in garlic nori sauce
another rest day again tmr =)
