We decided to date at the Nogawa park just behind our place for lunch today.
The skies were filled with thick clouds, and it was a rather gloomy the day, so i was glad after our walk that we dropped by the park filled with smiling sakuras.
Leaves are starting to sprout from the sakura trees, so soon, the white and pink painted parks will start to change in colour.
the whole place is still generally pinkish white still
Everywhere was just as pretty and equally enticing to sit and enjoy.
But we wanted to look for a quiet spot to have our bento
we found one area to ourselves, away from the plenty of groups having their picnic lunches
got out our bento boxes
and had a really peaceful lunch at this nice & quiet park
Dinner was
udon topped with natto, grated daikon, sour plum, bonito flakes & spring onions from the garden
gyozas in soup
sauteed spinach in garlic
and, coffee pudding ala mode
haha, that was J's request. pudding in ala mode. so the usual coffee pudding was dressed with bon bon chocolate ice cream and banana slices.
ready for my monday after so much sakura dating! =)
