Spare ribs and lotus root soup, steamed brocolli topped with restaurant style sticky oyster sauce, and cucumber pickles on the side (dads fav)
So i had a taste of mums style today after a long while...This recipe has been sleeping in my laptop for quite some time...
Spare ribs and lotus root soup simmered for many hours in corn and scallop broth. Mum would also add dried squid whenever available, so i put some in too~
I bought the local version made by Cook Do, not LeeKumKee.
Equally tasty!
