Caesar salad from scratch

J bento
Teriyaki chicken, yakisoba, inari sushi
Baked this morning... chocolate cornflakes and apricot muffins

I was craving caesar salad today somehow...
decided to make my own dressing for the first time =)

this recipe i used yields quite a reasonable portion that is easy to finish>
2 pieces of anchovy fillets (canned), chopped fine
2 tbs olive oil
1 tbs vinegar
1 tbs milk
2 tbs mayonnaise
2 tbs parmesan cheese
1/2 a clove of garlic, mince
black pepper
Mix well and toss with romaine lettuce, steamed herb chicken, croutons and top with a poached egg. Sprinkle more parmesan if desired.
For the herb chicken, rub salt and basil on chicken breast, sprinkle 2 tbs of white wine, wrap and microwave at 500W for 6 min. Leave it to steam in the bowl for 10 min before cutting into cubes.
Poached egg was simple too. Fill a small microwaveable bowl with a little water, crack an egg in and pierce the yolk, wrap and microwave at 600W, 1 min.

Dinner
Nikujaga(Braised beef and potatoes in shoyu broth), caesar salad and consomme soup with mushroom, carrots and macaroni

A close up of our nikujaga =)
