tororo

Today being the third day of the New Year, we eat tororo, which is grated mountain yam.
Lunch was soba, as usual, our favourite combination of tororo, natto and nameko mushrooms.
all the sticky stuff =)
topped with seaweed furikake
pink & white foods are commonly eaten on during the new year celebrations,
so i mixed in some pink rice noodles into the soba. =) topped with the seasons yuzu.

Dinner was
Tuna burger on rice, carrot soup & new year egg cakes
home made tuna burger with chives, with mushroom sauce
datemaki egg roll
nishitamago egg roll

this is usually made before the new year, but since we spent the week at okaasans place, i didnt plan to make this. but after having such yummy egg rolls, we were craving more!
getting the hang of making egg rolls now =)
