You wouldnt imagine having beef stew atop rice isnt it?

Hamburger beef stew don
and the much awaited bamboo shoot that i lightly pan grilled with shoyu & butter.

The reason why J loves don dishes is because he can pick up the bowl and just tuck in right away without having to pick up the food from another dish plate, and every bit of sauce would have been absorbed by the rice.

Its the first time i scooped stew over rice, and i think there will be many more to come. =P
