Refreshing chicken stew?

The whole week has been wet so far, but we saw mostly sun today! Hoho finally managed to do some laundry...

Got this habit of planning what to cook for dinner the day before, so taking into consideration the weather these few days, i decided to cook chicken stew~ but since it got a bit hotter, i made the stew a little less heavy by adding grated daikon.

Dinner

Japanese chicken stew with grated daikon and enoki. The name for this kind of stew = mizoreni.

Melt in your mouth tofu with miso mayonaise topping.

Made this tofu using soymilk and nigari and popping it in the steamer for 25minutes.

Moloheya! Bought this from the vegetable seller this morning. I had thought this was only eaten in Egypt only! I am so glad to find it in Tokyo. Love the smooth and sticky texture of this...

The other side dish we had was steamed eggplant with chinese dressing.

Bento of the day... Made up of left over beef stew from last week. Gave it a week sautee this morning. And added a sweet egg omelette and a mini cucumber and ham skewer.

Matcha tiramisu!!!

made with green tea and rum soaked kueh bolu, layered with vanilla ice cream and topped with powdered green tea.
