snowing for real

IT SNOWED REAL SNOW TODAY!

the first time it really is snowing as according to the forcast.

last winter, i was so excited to see the white bits falling from the sky, but when they touched ground, it became rain. same thing last month, it was shivery cold rainy like snow, so it was quite depressing.

today, it rained the whole afternoon, but after my evening bath, i found it quite quiet n decided to peek outside the window to see if the rain has stopped.

but it became snow!!!

and the car parked outside has snow on the bonnet! which means the snow lands as snow and not rain!

excitedly went to the terrace to see if there is snow on the plants outside the fence

snow on the ground! snow on the leaves!

whee~~~

Dinner was simple since we wanted to have lots of oden rice

besides the okara okonomiyaki, and yesterdays enoki salad

i made a fresh huge bowl of salad

hijiki & beans vegetable salad

and since it is snowing, we have to have ice cream =P

and coincidentally, there is a box of yukimi (snow watching) daifuku ice cream in the freezer which we got from the mart over the weekend
